## Questions & Answers

**Q: Specs indicate it is 36" wide; I'm assuming this measurement is end to end at base of brackets. Also, inside width, bracket to bracket?**
A: Outsides of the brackets measures 37 3/4" and insides of the brackets is 28 1/4". I measure 36" across at the mid point of each part of the bar that goes into the bracket.

**Q: What is the distance center to center between the top and bottom of the area for the bolts?  I plan on mounting this on 6" (actual 5 1/2") beam.**
A: 4 inches.

**Q: Would this be able to hit the King studs on 3 doorways - 32.75 inches, 36.75 inches and 34.75 inches wide (frame widths on the either sides included)?**
A: The 32.75 and the 34.75 will work. 36.75 is a bit too wide.

**Q: It says in the Description that the item has a "white powder coat finish" but in all the pictures, the item appears black.  Does it come in white?**
A: it comes in glossy black..  it's solid and the mounting hardware is heavy duty though it could use 4 more screws - 4 per side.  My door frame casing is wide.  White?  why would you want it white anyway.  first of all, it would get dirty from all the beastly pull-ups you are going to perform.  I also purchased arm slings for obliques and those things will scratch your pretty white finish.  Also got the gravity boot and again, black is wack.  Make sure you don't get stuck hanging yourself on that bar - dont' over do sit-ups and have someone around or keep your cell near by to call a friendly neighbor.

Great product. Ergonomic grip for pull-ups or chin-ups. Low profile so it can fit many places without getting in the way. Im about 210 right now and it holds me just fine. No creeks or groans signally possible unit failure. Ive seen complaints that the bar is to smooth and I agree yes, that especially if its outside and there is moister on the bar it is almost impossible to keep a tight grip. An old gym rat trick is to take (quality) athletic tape and simply wrap the bar where you mostly have your hands. You'll never have a grip problem again. It comes with 4 lag bolts, though I wish it would have been at least 6 just because I like to be extra cautious. Bolts are rust prone if mounted outside. Bar is coated and will not rust unless damaged.
