The shroud is super hard to get on. I had to use oil around the rim and put my whole body weight (215lbs.) into it to pop it on. It works fantastically when combined with a Ridgid vacuum that can fit a Ridgid hepa filter and hepa bag internally. I had trouble finding a blade to fit it. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY YELLOW DEWALT CUP BLADE. They are too thin height-wise. I finally found one that fits and listed the link below. With that blade, it has a brass ring that you pop out of the middle of the blade and then use the 7/8" arbor kit that is sent with grinder. Also, I used all but 2 of the washers that came with the grinder to get the right height on the blade in order for the vacuum suction to work. https://www.amazon.com/Concord-Blades-GCH070AHP-T-Turbo-Diamond/dp/B00LQKVBVK/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=Concord+gch070ahp&qid=1568927134&sr=8-1 **Q: Is the shroud hinged** A: Yes. It is awkward, and doesn't hinge open easily. **Q: Donde encuentro repuestos para esta grinder?** A: You can find spare parts at any Metabo Authorized service center, also many dealer will carry or can order spare parts. You can find outlets here: https://www.metabo.com/us/enus/storefinder/ **Q: How many amps?** A: 4.5 hp 15 amp ## Frequently Bought Together - Metabo US606467800 Concrete Renovation Grinder - 7" Diamond Grinding Wheels for Concrete or Masonry, 24 Turbo Segments, #30/40 Grit, Medium Bond, 5/8"-11 Arbor - 4.5" High Performance Diamond Grinding Wheels for Aggressive Concrete, Paint, Epoxy, Mastic, Coating Removal, #18/20 Grit, S Segments, 5/8"-11 Arbor --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/100359357-metabo-hpt-7-in-surface-prep-angle-grinder-15-amp](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/100359357-metabo-hpt-7-in-surface-prep-angle-grinder-15-amp) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
