The problem is that it's so well built that it's very heavy so puts the mic stand in danger of toppling over unless I put a weight on the legs. And unfortunately it also tends to make the plattern to the right by 15 degrees or so. It's not often that we have to complain about something being too high quality so I feel a little unfair making these criticisms. Perhaps my mic stand is too thin for the grip and a wider diameter might help the canting problem, but I have no way of telling. My final problem with the music stand is my fault so I haven't deducted any stars for it, but thought I'd better mention it in case anybody else makes the same mistake. I thought it was landscape orientation and it's portrait, so if you are singing from a book or need to be able to see multiple pages this will be too narrow. ### ⭐⭐ Doesn't clip to frame of electronic drum kit *by B***V on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 28, 2018* Despite what some of the comments against this product might say, there is no way of clipping it to our Yamaha drum kit, therefore it will need to be returned at our expense. The description should make it clearer that it can only be clipped to vertical poles of a specified diameter. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ sturdy, not quite as maneuverable as I'd like *by P***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on June 8, 2020* Maybe swap round where the vertical pivot knob is for better access to it (rather than having it at the side nearest the stand that you're clipping it to).
