Paper straws always get too soggy. I use silicone straws, but sometimes you just want to use something disposable. I saw these cane straws and decided to give them a shot.They’re pretty sturdy. I wouldn’t bite them or squeeze too hard, but they weren’t cracked in the package. They do soften up in liquids, so be aware of that.They work well, but the taste! I’ve only tried them with water thus far, so they may work better in smoothies or flavored drinks. But in water, the taste is unpalatable and leaves a faint bitter taste in my mouth.
