At the back there is a triangle wire which you can hang your frame from which was ideal as didn’t have to hammer another nail into the wall Review: High-quality but with minor issues - These frames appear to be of German manufacture - or at least, German is the primary language on the packaging. The clips securing the back to the frame are just a tiny bit fiddly - they need to be compressed then turned 90 degrees (either way) to lock/unlock - this is much easier to achieve on a solid surface than on your lap. Once locked back in place, they appear admirably secure. The clips are perforated so as to fit over - and to conceal - a nail or screw for wall-hanging but you will want to check the head against the perforation beforehand to ensure that it will pass through. There are no attachments for a hanging wire or cord. A downside with this arrangement is that if the frame will not naturally hang straight from a single nail/screw as above, adjustment may require a lump of blu-tack or somesuch discretely positioned somewhere behind to hold it level. A flap to support the frame free-standing is firmly and permanently hinged to the back. The rear depth of the frame is sufficient that folded flat this ought not to impede wall-hanging - or that appears to be the intention - but with both the two 6" x 8" frames I purchased the hinge was 'tight', holding the flap a little proud so that the frames would not hang perfectly flat to the wall.
