This is a must have to keep those pesky mosquitos away from your face. I would recommended wearing a hat underneath to keep the net away from your face. Much better than spraying deet all over your face.

The best!
This is a huge improvement over the standard head nets. For one, the elastic at the top keeps it from slipping around, with or without a hat. Secondly, although I won't agree with the claim that it's invisible, it's a big improvement from the green kind. I also like the toggle although I do wish that it was a bigger size - it's hard to get a grip on it with wet or sweaty fingers. Lastly, the insecticide treatment makes a large difference. No bugs hovering around the netting. Oh yes, and how cool is it to have the tiny bag! Good product.

Keep the Bugs Away!
I live in Northern Minnesota and spend a lot of time outdoors. I bought this to use while picking wild blueberries or while camping. It has saved me from losing my mind several times. The gnats, mosquitoes, biting flies are relentless in this part of MN. Certain times you can't stand to be outside. But this net fits nicely over a cap. It isn't hot and I can see out of it easily - even to spot wild blueberries.

Great except..
If the bugs are really bad you'll need a hat or something to keep the net of your head and face. Otherwise awesome product, it's so light I bring it on every hiking trip.

nicely made but too small for normal adult with full brim hat
Hope this helps someone.well made. mesh is very fine. has elastic ring at top, maybe supposed to go on a ball cap crown. I got a small melon. I wear a full brimmed hat about the size of a soft very small cowboy hat. i think the elastic prevents it from working. ether way the circumference is too small. say would work great for a child (with a small full brim to prevent bites) or possibly a ball cap. problem is a ball cap will not keep net away from back of neck...so you will get bit. plus its really close to face, even as i tried to use it with my hat smashed on all sides. my ancient decade or two one buck wally world coglin which is smaller vertically, but fits around hat..its only mosquito net though and green mesh. this new one fancy black thin tight mesh getting halfway to old women's stocking and has insect repellent in it good for 25 washes. cute drawstring and lock with grommet so like said well made with fancy pouch...which isn't attached ..i think that's better as i don't want the pouch on my head and really you can roll these nets to the size of your finger and shove it into your pocket ...takes no space and weighs nothing. I usually just roll my old one up and let it sit on top of the brim...look like jungle safari mike. I really like bens features, sadly i need to return it ...just useless to me as I said unless you want to protect 7 year old. they are onto a good product but need to increase circumference or offer an option for one.going to try some others see if the two most important things to me can be found...best vision possible and must be able to wear a brimmed hat to cover and space around entire head a neck front and back and not be right on your nose. found one here that's 24 tall and 20.4 wide and another that claims to be big so when i get them see if they work.

Critical for comfort in buggy locations
Absolutely LOVE this product. Works perfectly, and is highly effective in keeping bugs off my face, without being too difficult to see through. When paired with a ball cap, it's the perfect system.

Literally a life saver for white socks in Alaska!!
If your headed to Alaska to areas where white socks prevail you better have one or two of these around. Unless you have experienced these flying, biting devils you may not understand. I promise bug spray will not cut it because they crawl under your clothes, in your hair, etc and leave marks that itch for days like a chigger (aka “red bug”) down south. These nets also help with the hordes of those mosquitoes and no-see-ums.

Works great!
This head net has a couple of nice features that I like. For years I've used the Coglins brand headnets that get right in your face and just have an elastic band at the bottom....which if you are a bigger guy like me, you feel like you are being choked, and they don't breathe very well. This one actually goes OVER your ballcap and holds the net out away from your face, AND you can adjust the bottom and tuck it into your clothes to keep the no-see-ums out. I've only used it a couple times so far to keep the gnats out of my face at work, and I wore it one morning trout fishing and it did pretty well. I like that it's been soaked in permetherin to fight against ticks (aka death from above). It's super light and the little stuff sack will be nice for just stowing it away in my backpack when I hit the trail:-)!
