This is fantastic for our Second Grade Class Literacy Stations! *by J***H on December 14, 2015* I got these for the second graders that I work with and we use the new Common Core method. These have been fantastic not only for when we break into morning Literacy Stations but also when we do our "whole group" time, reading together on the carpet, and the kids have to answer questions about the main idea, character traits, how they might relate to the characters, or change the ending or title, and so much more! Plus it has the added bonus of letting the kids roll a die so they think it is a game while they are learning, always a great thing. Some of the tutors have taken to borrowing the cubes when we are not using them for their work with one, two, or three children and they work on the advanced learners as well as those who are advanced students in training!
