Most soy candles use a little bit of soy wax and blended with paraffin wax (which is made from petroleum oil). Yet, they can legally call it soy wax. At Pure Integrity we use 100% natural soy wax, which is made by adding hydrogen to soybean oil, in order to make it solid. We are very concerned about human health and have taken many steps to providing the healthiest and best scented candle. This is actually the reason my wife and I started Pure Integrity Candles. We are also proud to be 100% vegan (no animal products and no animal testing). So, if you want the best scented healthy candle, look no further! **Q: Are these candles organic?** A: These are soy candles. I can not tell you if the soy is organic or not. I did look on there webpage and they don't make the organic claime. I can tell you that this is one of the best candles I've ever had and it burns nice and even without any chemical or harmful smells. **Q: What would you compare the autumn splendor and the nutmeg spice candles scents to?** A: They are very unique and different fragrances. The nutmeg spice is more of a baked good fragrance with rich and sweet notes, while the autumn splendor is more fresh and spicy with very little sweetness. The Vanilla is a nice fresh vanilla with a touch of sweetness. We use the same Vanilla fragrance but add some Almond, which gives it a more nutty fragrance.
