Great for my bearded dragon! *by A***8 on Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2018* Great quality! I love how it’s adjustable for my lizard too. Cute/funny. A lot of baby blue shades I got to choose from for my boy. (Options👍🏻). The adjustable strap is easy to use, and great of course because he’s small. It would work great for a newborn human too with the size “small,” in my opinion. Most of all, personally, I love to spread awareness that reptiles are nice & docile creatures so this is a great conversation piece!!! For other pet owners information/SAFETY/CONCERN: He loves it, bearded dragons in general are very concerned to keep themselves safe, of course, because of their amygdala part of their brain, so with some time, reassurance with worm treats (his favorite), & basically conditioning overall with their “familiar” owner they trust, they won’t mind it. They have an “associative memory,” that they recognize this tie is nothing that is dangerous from before when they had it put on them, that’s the conditioning/patience part. With that recognition they don’t give an F*** what u put on them lol😍 especially if u are feeding/pleasing them, aka, catering to help them with their survival! Eating=survival/pleasure. Reptiles (bearded dragons), survival is their #1 concern I believe! My dragon specifically loves to hold onto the tie for comfort. (He thinks the tie is holding him up, not my thumb lol). U can see the grip with his nails in the photos. If your thinking about getting one for your bearded dragon I strongly suggest a bond and other comfort building is worked on before playing dress up. Not for you, but for the stress of your bearded dragon! Build a bond and trust, there’s lots of research on it, and worth it for many reasons obviously, but even with this he/she will be more comfortable because he/she has a prior, built bond/trust, that he/she won’t feel threatened. Who knows your dragon might sleep on you with the tie like mine does if you put a little effort in your general bond before other things.❤️ Remember it is for you AND him, not stressful for him. He has to feel like he is getting something out of it to have fun too because, would u want another animal doing something to u that is unfamiliar with no comforting or fun for u?! No!! He is associating the dressing with the time he gets his yummy wax worm treats! (That’s his associative memory!) That’s how your both winning, playing, and having fun! It was better than I expected. It is nicely made, and a very good quality. I was so glad I was given different options for sizes, and I loved that there was a chart to show me the different sizes and their recommendations. That was very helpful. The medium size that I chose for my 7 year old son fits him perfectly. The color looks exactly like the photo, and was exactly the color I was looking for. Good quality gaberdene pre-tied bowtie. Perfect for littles for a special occasion. I used mine to wrap a special occassion gift with the intention of keeping it for use. Glad I opted for this one. Please note in the picture included, the gaberdine seems to sparkle. That's only a trick of the camera caused by the weave of the fabric. In person, the black bowtie is a true, uniform black of the same material as many men's dress trousers. The box is 4" x 3" x 1.5" and the tie isn't adjusted as small as possible.
