**Q: Will this work during the winter?**
A: MarkThere only instructions were to use it on a regular basis.I am not sure where you live but , in my case (Delaware) I have a ground water supplied pond so the water coming in from ground water is at about 55 degreesWe are having relatively mild winters as well,  so  the bacteria usually do ok at 50-60 degrees and may just go into dormancy when colder.I just threw one in about 2 weeks ago and have not treated my pond with bacteria in over a year.I believe it is money well spent to use it now and possibly skip Jan and Feb and start up in march again.Good luck and I wish the best for your Pond. A: First time two blocks but depends on size and every month then after the shock.

**Q: Does aeration help when using pond boss block**
A: Aeration can be used when using the Pond Boss Block.

**Q: Will it clear up muddy water in 1 Acre pond?**
A: No. Muddy water is a turbidity issue. Use gypsum or small quantities of alum to clear muddy water. You will also need an aerator. Make sure you use proper quantities when dosing.
