A few years ago I became allergic to gels that are commonly sold similar colours to the genuine shellac. Within an hour of the gels going on my nail I feel it burning and itching. I have to get it off straight away and give my nails a rest with no product on my nails for around a month. If I dont get it off straight away my nails lift awy from the nail bed and skin on my fingers and then fall off. You can imagine how painful that is. With genuine CND Shellac I do not have that problem at all . But I used this and after application there was no reaction whatsoever so I know it is a genuine product. You can also get CND Vinylux which is a hard wearing nail polish and doesn’t need curing. **Q: Is this a sheer nail polish?** A: Yes it is, you can build it up over a few layers though.
