Unfortunately, it will not work. **Q: Has anyone successfully used this tool on a 2015 mirage? i know it should theoretically work...anyone done it?** A: I tried this device several times on my 2015 Mirage ES...and it didn't work. When I connected it to the OBDII port, the lights on the tool do NOT behave the way that is shown on the instruction card. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get it to work (and I'm familiar with TPMS tools). The instructions included with the tool are minimal (that's being generous), and the manufacturer's website has no further documentation. Calling the manufacturer's support line didn't help, either. After multiple failed attempts, I can only conclude that (despite what the manufacturer claims) the current version of this tool WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT WORK ON 2014+ MIRAGE MODELS. My guess is that they built it for Lancer models, and then assumed it would work on the Mirage, too. **Q: If I already have the sensor codes, do I still need the VT30?** A: Yes, the VT30 is needed in order for the system to be fully reset. **Q: I put my original sensors in new wheels, then mounted wheels in different locations. Now TPMS light flashes 1 min and stays on. Will this tool help?** A: In order to reset the system, you will need this tool plus the VT15 or VT30 (your choice) to reset the system. I assume that your vehicle shows you exactly what wheel is low? If so, you need to reset every time the wheels are rotated. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Works on a 2012 Lancer SE but VT30 or 31 is needed *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 30, 2018* Bought for use on a 2012 Lancer SE with an Ateq VT15 trigger tool, which their website claims will work with the Mitsureset. The VT15 works perfectly on the first try on my 2015 Chevy Silverado which Ateq says is good because it shows the VT15 is working. After months of trying using two different sets of wheels and countless phone calls and texts with Ateq technical support, I still cannot get it to reset any sensors. That infuriating yellow blinking light rarely blinks more than twice. Once I managed to get it to four blinks but couldn't get it to turn green to indicate that the sensors had been reset. It's also annoying that it's a 2 person job, one to trigger the sensors and one to watch the blinking light. Ateq has not said they give up yet so if they can ever figure out how to get it to work, I'll change this review.UPDATE: On the advice of a Lancer forum member, I bought an Ateq VT31 even though Ateq told me the VT15 works with the Mitsureset. The VT31 worked perfectly on the first try! So the Mitsureset gets 5 stars, Ateq gets 1 star for not knowing how their own products work. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars WARNING: DOES NOT WORK WITH 2014+ MIRAGE MODELS *by G***S on Reviewed in the United States on May 18, 2016* Despite multiple attempts, I could not get this device to work on my 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage. I have verified with a second person that the Mitsureset also failed to work on two different Mirages (both ES and DE models). We are both experienced technicians familiar with other TPMS tools. If you have a Lancer or Outlander, you may be OK. But if you are buying this to use on a 2014+ Mirage, keep the shipping box handy because you will end up returning it!The Mitsureset tool has no user manual, troubleshooting guide, or even a “helpful hints” sheet. That’s not a good sign knowing how quirky Mitsubishi TPMS systems can be. This device ships with a single-sided 4”x6” instruction card with 9 tiny illustrations demonstrating how to use it. There are no detailed explanations, and the manufacturer has no other information about the device on their website. As of today there’s not even a video to watch demonstrating the exact use of the Mitsureset tool.When I hooked this up to my 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage, it didn’t behave AT ALL like the instruction card showed. The green LED began blinking the second I attached the connector to my OBDII port (yes…my ignition was OFF). That’s not what the instruction card showed. I wasn’t sure what to do at that point. Is the tool ON, or do I still need to press the ON button? When I press the ON button the LED turns red briefly. Hmm…what does that mean? There’s nothing on the instruction card about a red LED. Why does the tool have an OFF button? There’s no mention anywhere on the instruction card that the OFF button ever has to be used. You get the idea. When I called ATEQ customer support, they told me that not all Mitsubishi models would behave exactly like the instruction card shows. Ummm...say what?!?!? Did you guys even test this thing on a Mirage?!?Ultimately a trip to the dealership (and $100 out of my wallet) and my TPMS sensors have been registered. I wish this tool worked on the Mirage like it apparently does the Lancer/Outlander. Connect MitsuReset tool to the OBDII connector of the vehicle. Turn ignition on.2. Press the MitsuReset "ON" button.3. Use TPMS diagnostic tool to trigger TPM sensors.4. After triggering all TPMS sensors on the vehicle, the green light on MitsuReset tool will turn solid indicating successful loading of the new TPMS ID's. Turn ignition off and disconnect the device from the vehicle.
