I used them for a few months but the sagging drove me nuts, so I took a chance on this set, and I am very, very happy with the result. Glass can sag a little, but not like a two-piece wood unit can! These stands are SOLID and the glass is extremely thick for the price. You can see from the pictures that they don't sag, and you can also see that they look great on a desk. I am only using them at the lowest level, however. I would not suggest using them higher than the default height with heavier items because the internal supports are made of plastic. While it can probably support the claimed weight, as the feet extend the whole stand would lose some stability. Some people complain about the plastic feet, and that's a fair complaint if you are going to use these "extended" - so I don't recommend it. I'd use the adjustable feet to compensate for uneven surfaces, but that's about it. If you can put up with the 3.2 inches of clearance (pictured) in the lowest setting, then they are a really sturdy monitor stand if you have large monitors and would like something sleek and professional looking without costing a whole lot of money.
