I loaded it up to adjust properly to my body (I'm 5'10" 180 lbs). I must say that it is extremely comfortable. All of the weight is transferred to my hips and I feel like I could wear it all day without shoulder pain . The quality seems to be top notch. I highly recommend this backpack.. ### ⭐⭐⭐ New line, wait for the production kinks to be worked out... *by D***D on April 27, 2011* I bought this item from a company called Camping Maxx and soon after purchase, discovered a flaw in the construction. The response from the retailer via the manufacture reps from High Peak was "put a piece of tape over it because they are all like that because it's a new line." Not exactly the response I was looking for as a new customer of the retailer and of High Peak items!! I just said "thank you" and considered it a valuable lesson learned. I've since stopped looking at items from both retailer and High Peak though I don't really know yet whether it is a minor or a major flaw. Regardless, it was enough for a newbie like me to discover so I seriously question the quality control on any future items. QC and the response are enough for me to steer clear though I do like the lightweight bag. I've been told by more experienced backpackers that the shoulder straps are not thick enough so that may be another thing.
