Wear latex gloves so they don't smell that you put the bait there. good luck **Q: Will this kill voles** A: I used it for voles and yes it kills them dead fast. They were exterminated within a day. Put the pellets on the yard trails and or the holes you know they use. This was right after snow melt and noticed the yard tunnels coming from under the neighbor's deck and fence. **Q: Will this work on possums?** A: I can only guess because I am not a veterinarian. I find them very effective on voles, which are about the size of a house mouse. I doubt that a possum would have more than a slightly upset stomach. I don’t think these are vegan Lol. Plus I’m not comfortable with poison. I recently read about a castor oil and palm olive combo that you liberally spray or squirt onto the wholes (they Hare noxious odors and these substances are harmless). The castor does smell a little but not revolting for humans.
