Can't say enough good things about it. Yes, it's salty. If you're afraid of salt, they have an unsalted version. I own a restaurant and when we use this broth, we get so many compliments! The flavor is balanced. At home I take whatever I have a lot of - often broccoli, and tofu and just mix it all up. If you add green onion, sesame oil and ginger, viola, you've got an Asian base. Add fresh basil, rosemary and tomatoes for an Italian base. Cumin, lime and cilantro for Mexican. You get the picture. I even sprinkle it on veggies like a seasoning.
