this aerator lasted me 8 years before I had to replace it and I didnt take care of it. I just set it outside and covered it with a fake rock cover to protect it from rain and never gave it a 2nd thought. I did buy a 2nd one as a backup so when I dies I was able to make a quick swap in 5 minutes. My pond is 5000 gallons and has large koi
