I find it very stable but you need to keep an eye on the ground if you encounter some rough terrain just to avoid getting a wheel stuck. The seat is padded and doesn't dig in at the sides. As a larger person it's nice and wide. It's very easy to manoeuvre and has a metal plate behind each back wheel to step on when you need to tilt it up over a curb. I love it and I think it looks better than some of the others . At around 12lb it is easy for me to lift into a car boot once folded. It folds from side to side and still stands upright. The brakes also lock if you push the levers all the way down. It was cheapest on amazon as I did my homework.
