Much smaller than pictured. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Marine Alcohol Stove Ceramic Wick Replacement for those No Longer Available (NLA) parts! *by J***T on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on June 22, 2017* Marine Alcohol Stove Ceramic Wick Replacement for those No Longer Available (NLA) parts! This item gets 5 stars because it has finally provided a solution for my marine alcohol stove you can't buy a wick for anymore! I have a Kenyon marine stove on our boat and they don't have parts or even manuals for these stoves any longer, yet there are plenty of them out there that still work just fine! Many say go kerosene but I prefer the odorless high heat that denatured alcohol provides.I purchased a small piece of this material and simply cut out the wick shape with some "shop scissors" (those heavy scissors they sell cheap at the auto parts or hardware store you can cut things like thin carpet or thick foams with). The reason it works so well is it is Ceramic Wick material, so it doesn't burn, but burns the alcohol fuel which soaks it, consequently it should last a very long time. I hope this helps someone; we've been on the hunt for a solution to this for some time! ### ⭐⭐ I actually bought a 4 foot roll of fire retardant fiber glass insulation from Lowes and it worked just as good for $4 *by T***O on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on January 10, 2015* Very deceitful you think your getting a roll of 7"wide x 2 1/2" thick, but all you really get is a tiny piece of wick. I actually bought a 4 foot roll of fire retardant fiber glass insulation from Lowes and it worked just as good for $4.00. Kept the fire going for over 3 hours. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/10564205-moda-flame-580272-og-151869-o-811070-ceramic-wool-wick](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/10564205-moda-flame-580272-og-151869-o-811070-ceramic-wool-wick) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
