The Sony Action Cam Replacement Doors (2 Pack) includes two different doors that are compatible with the waterproof case that''s included with your Sony Action Cam. The first door features a flat lens, which is ideal for shooting under water. The second door features a tiny opening located near the camera''s built-in microphone. Review: Both work great - I purchased these doors hoping to get rid of the slight fish eye trend in some of my dive videos that the standard door gave occasionally. The increased audio door is outstanding on land and really helps with audio quality (I haven't tested it underwater). I would like to see an easy to use red filter for flat dive cover to add color back to my videos at depth. As a side note I purchased a 12" x 12" sheet of light gel and attached with clear rev sealant as a test to see if it would work and the second attempt to do this worked great (the first try used a piece of the gel that had a slight defect). This gave me exactly what I was looking for for diving. An easy to remove filter would be great since now my dive cover is not really usable on land; however since the attachment that I did was rtv I can easily peel it off and have a clear cover if needed. This I didn't feel detracted from the quality of the product and am including as an idea if you you are looking for the same thing that I was. Outstanding product and works great (both covers).

**Q: I am going diving with this camera. All reviews said you need this replacement lens. Does this make it waterproof as well? What should I be buying?**
A: I am not sure which answer you are looking for,  I purchased the replacement lens set and I am also a diver.  So to answer your question I will describe each of the 3 total lense doors that i have.  The original lense that came with my waterproof case works great for diving.  I have personally had it to 125' with no problems.  The second lense door that i use for diving is the flat one that came in the replacement lense door kit.  I have had it to 125' as well with no problems.  Either of these will work for diving.  The original does give a slight fisheye image, that the flat one does not.  The third lense is the second one int replacement door kit.  It is designed for enhanced sound pickup and works on rainy days but is not for diving.  I hope my somewhat longwinded answer helps you.  I am glad that i purchased the replacement doors i have used both of them with good results.  Mike W.

**Q: does it fit with the AS20 case?**
A: It does not fit stock AS20 case, which is SPK-AS2. However, AS20 can also use SPK-AS1 case, which is what this AKA-RD1 is for.

**Q: Will these doors fit the SPK-AS2 case?  The one that comes with the HDR-AS30V camera (the new camera with the ligher case)?**
A: No, it does not fit SPK-AS2.  However, SPK-AS2 is not for diving anyway. If one needs a diving case, one have to get SPK-AS1 and this door replacement.

**Q: Does this case suit sony fdr x1000?**
A: Hi Dmitry, No. It's not compatible with Sony FDR-X1000 . -Anthony

This doors are okay, there is no much functionality that could be described, but... ¿what is wrong with the price????? Why does two small piece of plastic cost more than 30 dollars? This is absurd.
