The jacket around the light is grippy and durable, and the back portion has the magnet covered so you don't scratch your paint. There are a variety of different light patterns which you can choose by pushing the power button to advance it.You hold the power button in for a few seconds to turn it off, and it will remember the last light pattern you had. I bought some Lithium AA batteries to last longer and work better in the cold temperatures. They also are nice and bright, the storage case feels quality and it keeps them organized.The extra small screwdriver tools are handy to have if you forget your others.
