The weight is good. Excellent product. There is a slight difference in the height of the brass between the colors. Call and ask if you are that picky. They are very helpful and nice. I'm happy with the black ones though. **Q: Do all the colors represent a different weight. The pics show at least 3 or 4 different size brass.** A: The difference in weight between the caps is mostly determined by their respective brass height. So, white would technically be the lightest of the 12ga bunch, while ultra high brass would be the heaviest. **Q: I have an 870 express magnum and want caps that mimick 3". Will these suffice?** A: I am not familiar with the 870 express magnum, these snap caps are 2 3/4". If your firearm can accept 2 3/4" they should work great, if you're specifically looking for 3" snap caps these are too short. I do own a set of 3" and 2 3/4" from this brand and they do cycle great through my 590a1 as it accepts both lengths. They also Have a very nice look and feel to them. I did look and it appears they do not have any 3" at the moment, maybe you can contact the seller and find out when they'll get more 3" in stock, Or check back later.
