This 24" rack was the perfect solution. It holds 13 store-brand jars of various sizes - our go-to collection. I also have some huge jars (Sam's, Costco, etc) that won't fit, but are easily stored in an overhead cabinet. No more searching for smaller jars hidden behind larger ones.It's also a nice piece of woodwork. Solid hardwood and sturdy construction - ought to last a long, long time. Yes, the retainer dowel is thin, but there's not enough stress on this piece to worry about. Fit and finish are good, splatters clean up easily. The natural finish looks good with our light oak cabinets. Be advised that the actual finish is a couple shades lighter than Amazon's picture.I don't mind paying a little more for quality, especially when it's made in USA. I hung it on the wall above my stove and it looks really nice. It just fits the spot. I could get 11 spices in it, some of them are the larger kind. I agree with another reviewer, though, that the color is not as it appears online. It really is a natural color, much lighter than the picture.
