The clamp is very strong, the phone gets mounted very securely via two big suction cups and a wide strip of velcro, and the gooseneck does allow for creative shots from a variety of places. It's a great concept. However, the gooseneck is very stiff/brittle plastic that is tough to adjust, and the way the phone gets affixed to the top of the mount is via two big suction cups that block the screen entirely. If you can't see your phone's screen how can you frame a nice shot?
