From the manufacturer Blue Circle Quality Assured Mortar Pre-mixed M4 (designation iii) cement : lime : sand mortar; ready to use with just the addition of clean water required. Mortar Mix produces a weather resistant and durable mortar that is suitable for most general brick and block applications. Mortar Mix is highly workable and cohesive, with a long board life. Mortar Mix is available in 20kg weatherproof, tear resistant plastic bags and now for smaller projects, handy sized 5kg and 10kg re-sealable plastic tubs. Features Weather Resistance Quality Assured Mortar provides a weather resistant and durable mortar and is suitable for most brick and block applications. Long Lasting Quality Assured Mortar is highly workable and cohesive, with a long board life. Ready To Use Quality Assured Mortar is pre-bagged ready for use and only requires the addition of clean water. Selected sands, lime, cement and admixtures have been blended together to produce the product. Technical Information Quality Assured Mortar may be used where there is a requirement for a designation iii, M4 Mortar. Quality Assured Mortar may not be used for general concreting, screeds, grout or render. It is essential that Quality Assured Mortar is prevented from drying out too rapidly. Generally, adequate curing is achieved by protecting the material from adverse weather conditions until fully hardened and thereafter allowing to dry slowly over several days. The final finish quality of this material will depend upon the operative having the required skills and familiarity with the material and its application methods.

The value of this product is in its convenience and ease of use. If you only have a small one off job to do like cementing in a new drain cover for example, this is the product for you. It would be very expensive to use on a larger project.

Easy to use and so far I have redone several holes and cracks that appeared over time to my patio and some brick work. Yes it is grey in colour but it all fades once applied and two things to think about have a mixing bowl and tools ready and get the mixture right - damp ramp than wet. thanks x
