These are great.Attractive style and color. Easy to install (especially on 4" post caps). Lights up immediately.Installation-------------Installation was straightforward (we have 4" posts, so we didn't need to use the adapter for 5" posts).Just rotate the bottom, lift the cap, and pull out the plastic strip to give the battery full contact, screw the base into the post on two sides, then put the top back on (it's like a simplified bayonet mount on a camera).Make sure the solar panels face south and west so they get optimum sunlight.The lights are attractive, soothing to sit out on the deck in warm evenings. The color and style are good.I would give this 5 stars except for one thing... the mounting to the base is a teeny bit loose. No problem in good weather and so far if birds land on them there's no problem, but we are wondering if a bad storm could rotate them enough to knock them off the base.
