Easy to cut with a pair of straight tin-snips, the wire is too heavy a gauge to cut with scissors. After shaping, fitted inside ventilation brick hoods and kept in place using an adhesive sealant. Once set the whole of the edges were finished with a bead of the sealant and the hoods fitted over the airbricks using rawplug fixings and stainless steel screws and sealed against the masonary using the same sealant. No mice in the house since fitting. Fingers crossed! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy stainless steel feels strong *by R*** on 28 February 2018* A little flexible which is good if I use it for oven cooking my chips on, feels strong would also be good for cooking pizza on. Good oven wore mesh item. Multiple uses. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect mesh for guarding against small wildlife *by Z***F on 30 May 2018* I live in a rural area with lots of insects around in the warmer months. This means fan cowls, vents, air bricks are an entry point into the house. I had some old mesh in place in some cowls however over time they were no longer effective hence i needed something better and robust. This stainless steel mesh is perfect. I've used them to secure air bricks into the loft space by fitting the mesh to the inside of the air bricks using steel staples into concrete. I've also fitted the mesh to the outside of ventilation piping which will stop anything coming in and because these are made from stainless steel they are very strong hence will last a long time.
