**Q: Does it fit on a 2004 mustang 3.9 v6 engine?**
A: It should fit. but you can look at the vehicle specs

**Q: Does this fit a 2003 mustang v6?**
A: Sorry I cannot say it does. It is meant for the V8. That said if you can measure the current pipe, I can look and see if it will fit. The issue will be if the air sensor will connect...if that does, then with a little work, you can get a connection if you are willing to put in some effort. But honestly, I do not see it being worth the effort. But I can try to help.

**Q: What is the black rubber piece on the pipe that has a hole in it?**
A: You have 3 rubber pieces if you are talking about the round one with a large hole it fits on the metal plate to keep the pipe from bouncing/scraping/jerking. The others are for the connecting to the throttle body (just cylinder tube of same size end to end), one that has a big end and a smaller end is adapter connection needed at your sensor, and flat one with a giant hole is for the metal plate. Also, keep in mind to save old mounts and gromets...those oddball metal things go into that, they are risers. I would also suggest a trip to local hardware for rubber gromets to use as washers to help keep it silent while driving...
