Since it has a cloth insert for the bowl I don't see it being a problem. I can see some of the nails on the outside that holds the bowl together but they are not sticking out.The cloth bowl insert has seams that will show up on your final shaping, undesirable imo. The storage bag that came with it is very breathable, however feels quite weak and the bowl takes some work to get it in, very snug fit at first. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 27, 2020* Christmas gift for my dad who is getting into making sourdough bread. We're excited for him to use this. Felt like great quality. Unnecessary "Bonus" drawstring bag doesn't fit the bowl. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well Made Basket *by K***A on Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2020* Well made basket for proofing my sourdough bread. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/110159155-10-inch-banneton-proofing-basket-sets-bread-bowl-bread-lame](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/110159155-10-inch-banneton-proofing-basket-sets-bread-bowl-bread-lame) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
