Nibley has such vast knowledge on the subject of temples in general that it really expands one's mind on the significance and origins of temple worship, and further shows evidence that temple ordinances have always existed since the fall of Adam. I appreciate the scientific references that Dr. Nibley utilizes to express the origins of the universe, and creation vs. evolution. And for modern day temple attenders, the ideas presented will bring additional meaning and insights to your personal experience.Note: this is not easy reading, but an intellectual study into why civilizations need temples (endowment houses) in these latter days. RIP Hugh Nibley, he demonstrated the only reason science and spirituality seems to conflict with each other is due to a lack of knowledge either from one discipline or the other.
