I rarely give out a 5 star rating so trust me this is really good. Young or old like me (69) will enjoy this adventure. I actually saw the animated series first and just knew the book would be good and it is. The imagined world is well constructed and the characters have a lot of depth. I can never write about a story because I’m an instant spoiler. So I’ll just say, take a leap of faith and give it a go. The animated series does the story justice, so check that out too. That is, hes one until the strange creature bursts thru his window, killing his mom. (its not a werewolf) Then, he finds out what his patents were hiding... hes a Werewolf. after a fight with the ... thing, his dad comes back from hunting and thinks Drew killed his wife. He stabed him with his sword, but, somehow , Drew survives.I love-- no, I ADORE this book. Drew isn't one of those heros who can't lose because hes the hero and he cant lose. He gets his but whipped plenty.this a good book for all that love werewolves an not werewolf romance (i hate werewolf romance)All the characters are developed well and are three dimensional, and the plot doesn't bore.Also, its really original. Were else have you herd of therianthropes or Werelords? Thats right, NO WERE!If u what detailed shifting look no further than chapter 3. The end is satisfying, its nice and long,and......
