Review: Supportive and Should Do the Trick - I was looking for a 5 inch box spring option, and I couldn't bring myself to spend $300 on one. I did some research and thought a metal box spring would do the trick, and at $100 and 2-day shipping, this fit the bill. I was able to easily put together the queen size option all by myself as a petite lady in less than 30 minutes. I had no problems with pieces not fitting together properly. I also had no issues with the cover. It is meant to be snug. As of now, I'm giving it five stars, but may adjust as needed later. The only thing concerning to me are the hinged joints on the side rails. While there are only two, they are definitely the weak point. If they don't fail, this will be a great find.

I’m really happy with this box spring! It was easy to set up, feels sturdy, and gives my mattress the support it needs. The 5-inch height is perfect without making the bed too high. Just what I needed! I didn’t want to pay 250 From the local mattress store for a low profile box spring so I decided to give this a try. A great alternative. Seems sturdy and was very easy to put together. Everything snaps in and it’s so intuitive you don’t really need directions. One of the corners was bent up so it gave us some trouble fitting in one piece but my husband was able to take the back of a hammer and straighten it out, otherwise I would have had to get an exchange. I would recommend.
