This book is truly for beginners, but is definitely useful for the intermediate and advanced students as well. Every page has diagrams that make it easy to follow along. The information is laid out in a logical, orderly manner, which greatly aides in understanding the concepts as well as the procedures. In addition, the back of the book has a chapter about troubleshooting watch issues. This alone makes this book highly valuable to the student / professional, and well worth the cost of the book. I highly recommend this book to anyone who’s interested in watch work.
