I have thin, fine hair which I wear short. I put an amount equal to half a dime on my hair and smooth it through. It gives me more control over cowlicks and smooths out the friz too. Hair stays in place all day. Be sure you put in in your palm then rub your hands together slowly until all the wax is melted so you dont get chunks in your hair. They gently rub through evenly.
