It's a little fatter than I was hoping and a little longer, but it's hard to find this kind of a flashlight with the switch on the endcap. Elzetta has many options to choose from and this is a great idea. I use it for my regular pocket light as well as IDPA shooting when the stage is in the dark. The only disappointment was that the beam isn't as focused as I had hoped, however that is a personal preference. You need a beam to be wide enough to illuminate at least three targets or attackers. I have seen similar comments recently on Candle Power Forums. I contacted Elzetta on this matter but they will not acknowledge the square beam pattern as a problem. I paid $142 for this light and will not accept this condition so I am returning it.
