## Overview

Oatey 30115 Hercules Boiler Liquid Stop Leak is a 1-quart, heat-activated liquid sealant designed to repair cracks and leaks in steam and hot water boilers. It forms a durable, pressure-resistant solid without clogging or foaming, is safe for plastic and rubber parts, and works instantly with no odors or priming required.

## Description

Product Description Oatey 30115 Hercules Boiler Liquid Stop Leak, 1-Quart From the Manufacturer Seals and repairs cracks or leaks in steam or hot water heating boilers. Prevents steam boiler surging and will not clog or coat submerged hot water heating coils, controls, vents or valves. Makes a strong, lasting repair on difficult leaks in steam boilers. Tough seal expands and contracts with heat, resists pressure, and is not affected by boiler cleaners. Will not cause priming or foaming. Boiler liquid combines instantly with water in the boiler. As the water leaks through the crack, it is vaporized and the oxygen in the air transforms the boiler liquid into a strong, solid substance. The heat generated by the boiler further hardens the seal. Contains no petroleum distillates and is safe to use in boilers and systems with plastic or rubber components. Boiler liquid can be used on new installations to repair leaky joints, sand holes, etc., which may appear after an installation is completed. Ideal for older installations where corrosion causes leaks and cracks that need to be sealed.

Review: Actually works - Read the instructions and follow.. but it actually works save me from replacing a leaking boiler for a whole winter. Can't believe it worked
Review: Great product to save you from dread in the middle of winter. - The crack in our boiler is a bit higher than this can reach but it certainly slowed down the use of water. The boilers auto feed went from 580 refills per day to 20. Now for the facts. If your boiler needs to keep replenishing the boiler than you need to remedy that issue or you will be back again when the new boiler wears through too.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ did the trick! boiler running great!
*by A***Z on July 21, 2022*

7/20/22 our boiler would leak 40 gal overnight. for the last 2 weeks i only ran it when we took showers, and would shut the water feed off right after. I'd still have about 20 gal on the basement floor after a few days. the internal leaks started messing with ignition and i had to constantly reset the control. i thought I'd give this a shot to help us limp this furnace 2-3 months till the new furnace is in. poured it in, got the boiler running, let it go overnight, it stopped the leaks completely and I'm amazed. i will come back and update how long it lasts, but I'm hopeful from reading other reviews. update: 8/10/22 after 3 weeks, a small leak has reappeared today, but only about 6 gal leaked in 24hrs. going to try another quart. boiler replacement is a month away, so we're just trying to limp this. $10 got us 3 weeks leak free.
