This is so very beautiful! I bought 4 for myself and found out that in different places on the web there were matching pieces. I bought the teapot, creamer and sugar bowl from the famous auction place that starts with an E, and I bought the 16x12 inch tray from a gift site. They had a vase as well but I was not interested. I got the creamer and sugar bowl for $42 together and the Teapot cost $72. The Tray was $40. When my daughter in law sees my set on Thanksgiving I know she will die with envy so I am going to order at least a couple of cups sets here for her then point her to the places I got the rest if she would like to complete the set herself. I wish there were bowls, and dishes. But I wished there was a creamer and sugar bowl and found them. So they might be out there. Truly these are of great quality and they are hand painted. How can I tell for sure? Although the paint matches, you can see little differences that would not happen if they used a stamp. I recommend this very very much. You could place a small muffin on the tail section of the saucer. You will have to spear it since the plume sticks out but that's good since the muffin can not slip or fall.

Purchased as a holiday gift for a tea loving friend. Imported from overseas so it took 'forever' to get here but was well worth the wait. It was packaged so well to protect it but yet was not wasteful or over-the-top. The packaging could be used for storing it when not in use unless one is going to display it. My friend happens to display her unusual tea cups in a lighted curio cabinet and she tells me this guy is front and center and she reaches for it almost daily. The 'feathers' are molded to the cup yet they are single feathers you can touch individually. The handle/body of the peacock is beautifully curved and easy to hold the cup. The little spoon that is included, when placed in the cup itself, makes for the uppermost feather you see in the picture. All in all, this is a beautiful, delicate yet useful tea cup of the nicest porcelain. If they weren't so expensive, I would have purchased all 4 colors for my friend.

The tea cup set is so unique and beautiful! I gave this to a friend as a gift, and she adores it. The only thing I should note is that the colors are not as bright in person as the picture suggests. They are a tad bit duller in person. This may or may not be a big deal to you...and that is fine.

This is exactly what I envisioned. It's sitting in front of me on my desk as I type this and it's BEAUTIFUL.PROS:- beautiful craftsmanship- gold stands out more than pictures show- colors don't bleed, very bright- package it came in was wrapped and beautifulCONS:- it holds VERY little liquid. maybe 3oz? I normally make 10oz cups of tea and it takes 3 of these to match- it's not as dainty as I'd like, but that's more of a personal preference- the clinking is VERY loud (good to know if you plan to use in an office environment like I do)Overall, still 5 stars. None of the cons are enough to make me not use it. My biggest complaint is the size. It's really sooo small. But it's beautiful, so weigh your needs before you buy. :)

This is a beautiful tea set. The problem I had, it was broken, it wasn't broken on the way, the sender sent me a broken one. They didn't even respond to my e-mail. This was mother's day gift for my mom but I had to return it, very disappointing.

It arrived on time but the packing is not at all good. I ordered 3 of them but 2 of them are completely broken. I ordered them from claybox as the price is too cheap here but I received the broken ones. I ordered 2 from DUSIEC and it's packing is excellent. Not even a single damage to the product. The DUSIEC one is a bit pricey but I definitely would buy from them as I am very much impressed with their perfect packing & on time delivery thing. I actually ordered 2 colors (that I ordered from Claybox but received broken) from DUSIEC again and planning to return the damaged Claybox ones.The product is good. Shipping & Delivery on time. It's just that I received broken ones and the packing is not done sooo right to protect the product. Any improvements in packing such fragile stuff would be great.

It is much smaller than expected, we ordered the blue one for a gift, the blue is quite a bit darker than the photo and it has gold lines painted on it, which in my opinion looks a little cheesy. The cup is still pretty but not as bright or beautiful as shown, you can tell it was cheaply made.

I bought this gift for my mother for Mother's Day. It's so beautiful an unique. I had it mailed to her because we live in different states. When she received it she said an I quote " the most astounding teacup she had ever seen." She said the detail was exquisite. She went on about not even wanting to drink out of it. I'm so glad I chose this piece. It's beautiful and classy just like my mom! I'm thinking ill buy the whole five piece set for her birthday. It would be well worth the money. In addition, I chose to have my gift wrapped and it was so perfectly wrapped. Thank you Amazon for making this a memorable Mother's Day for my fabulous mother. Thanks!!
