**Q: Will this cut bass out I would like to use for a set of 6.5 so I would go from headunit to amp .**
A: No, just the opposite. They cut everything above 100hz. I had used them to send signal to a subwoofer so it would only get the lower frequencies

**Q: Does it matter which direction these are hooked in - does the male end go into the mixer or the amp**
A: Male end in amp.

**Q: Can this be used in a PA setups between a mixer and a amp? Or is this just car compatable?**
A: I don't see why not.  A signal is a signal.  This goes between the head unit and amp via RCA's.  So between the mixer and amp should be the same.

**Q: Do these two go on the amp input?**
A: Yes.  Between amp input and RCA's
