## Description

Pelican Protector Cases are made with Copolymer Polypropylene, using an open cell core and solid wall construction, which is stronger and lighter that the completion. You can tell its a Pelican case by the distinctive "twin-ribbed" top surface. Stainless steel pins are used for hinges and handles. The new Double-Throw latches are much easier to open.

The protector cases are solid, and well engineered, with some weight for protection. The 1500 case is a great size for so may things from photography with cameras and lenses, to laptop computers and all the things that go with them. It looks and works great. You just lay your item in the case and as they suggest, you can use toothpicks or chalk to outline your item. Then you can remove the foam to perfectly fit your item, depth and width. Plus you can save the foam you remove for future use as needed. The case is super strong and waterproof. Well worth every penny!!I and I'll be buying more soon.

I really like pelican cases. The pick and pluck foam is fine, but easily changed for Kaizen Foam if needed. The protector cases are solid, and well engineered, with some weight for protection. The 1500 case is a great size for so may things from photography with cameras and lenses, to laptop computers and all the things that go with them. It looks and works great. I love this case- it's unbelievable!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great camera case

I purchased this case in 2010 to use for my camera equipment, including a Canon 28-300mm lens, for a week long trip whitewater rafting down the Colorado River. It withstood everything and kept the equipment dry and safe during that trip. The case is extremely bouyant and had more bouyancy than my life preserver, so it would float on down the river if it had come out of the raft (but it didn't because I strapped it down). It is not light weight, which made the hike out of the Grand Canyon more intense than it would have been otherwise and I do not recommend it if you are planning to do any hiking with it. I have been using it as the main storage for my DSLR since that trip and it has proven to be very durable and the foam on the inside is great protection for camera equipment. Outstanding case; waterproof; durable; easy to open and close.
