I originally bought the thin scratch film that sticks and regret it. He scratched through it easily and made marks underneath. I wish I bought this instead. This product velcros on and he scratches the plastic instead of my wood. You will eventually need to replace the Velcro but that is better than damaged wood! A window behind my kitchen sink needs a 4 inch depth.
