**Q: Is this scanner Twain compliant?**
A: Yes it has twain drivers. We also use an ppen source program called irfanview to handle the scanner interface with our management software.

**Q: Does this come with the calibration and cleaning sheets?**
A: Hello Thx for the interest, it does come with calibration paper and cleaning sheet

**Q: What does it mean "hardware only?" The suggestion is software might be needed but is not included? How would one acquire the software?**
A: I think some of these are sold with "IDSCAN" software to save contacts into other software - we just needed the scanned image and it showed up as a scanner on the computer.  Drivers, calibration pdf, etc is downloadable from their website.

**Q: Does this scan bar code on drivers lic**
A: no the 800nr only scans a picture of the license. the 800r will populate information fields from the picture scan if you have the proper software and setup.
