On the whisper side it is quiet! It took a few days for the purification process to make a difference, but now I breathe better and and sleep better! Review: JUNK - After receiving the Ionic Whisper a day late from when it was supposed to have been delivered. I was anxious to start using. I'm glad I opened the box/wrapping carefully because right out of the box I noticed that the housing was flimsy plastic and I was afraid of breaking just to turn the switch on. And of course, DID NOT WORK...hum. After checking cable, my wall outlet, reread instructions I found that the only way to get it to work was if I kept constant pressure on the Collector Plates. This thing is PURE JUNK and not worth the box it came in. I am IMMEDIATELY returning for a refund. So far my experience (4th item I purchased) with desertcart is not turning out too good. It’s perfect .. easy to open & clean .. just be careful with the plastic tabs and slots on the front when opening & closing , to clean just wipe off the metal ionizing fins and put back together..
