I didn't want to spend a lot. I picked this set because it also comes with the case, needles, and stitch markers.I have now been using these for over a year and still love them! THEY ARE QUALITY.My only issue is my case for the needles cracked fairly quickly and I have lost some because of this. (Which was most likely user error)Also, the zippered case is fraying on the inside and I feel I will have to replace that soon.But for $12 and great hooks I can live with that.If you are looking to get into crocket but don't want to invest a ton. I love them if you love, the susan bates hooks these are not what you are use to. these are more like a boyes tip. the handle is firm but comfortable. I have only had a problem with one rubbing my hand but it was where the seam was not trimmed down.
