Decent run time of around 20+ minutes on a 2-hour charge. Steering seems to be full right, full left, or straight ahead. Straight ahead isn't really, because the wheels are poorly aligned (very cheap construction). There is an adjustment on the underside, but this quickly gets knocked out of whatever position you put it in, as it hangs down between the front wheels and scrapes along the ground any time there is the slightest bouncing.It is pretty fast - you have to jog to keep up - and good range on the transmitter. Also, it generally ends up on the wheels after bouncing and jumping so you aren't always righting it (if it is on the side, a quick stab of throttle will usually spin it around and get it on the wheels again). Good thing, too, as it is so light it tends to bounce and tumble on even the smallest bumps. Don't expect precision control - full left or right steering as mentioned earlier, and throttle with very limited granularity - perhaps three or four steps from 0 to full.Bottom line is, it was actually a lot of fun - while it lasted. Unfortunately it is very cheaply made, and it shows. Sadly, at the end of our first session it ran into the tire of a parked car, and the steering arm broke (a piece of thin plastic). Please Note: I'm not too familiar with using pistol grip style transmitter.I bought this, because it is small (its length is about same size of smartphone), its buggy has rechargeable batteries, and batteries requirement for the transmitter is just 2 AA batteries... (comparing to other RC toys, not too much batteries consumption). I can recharge the buggy's batteries on USB slot of my laptop or battery pack.After charging the buggy via USB for 2 hours, it can run about 20 minutes... I personally think that the running time is short.
