The first time was 3 years ago and we had no issues until it gave out a few days ago. My husband installed the 2nd heating element last night, so we're hoping to get another few years out of this one. We aren't super handy DIYers around our house, but my husband was able to install this heating element easily by himself both times with no issues. Everything fit perfectly.
