I was looking for one that was reliable since, I am constantly traveling long distances with my Dirtbike. I purchased a VersaHaul and a Black Widow carrier. The reason I purchased both of these carriers is I wanted to compare the two.I am not a paid reviewer. Nor am I getting anything in return for this review. Just giving my perspective on the two carriers. I will give you the Pro's and Con's of both the VersaHaul and Black Widow carrier since I had the opportunity to use them both. For the money you will have to decide which works for you. You can purchase two Black Widow Carrier's for the price of one VeraHaul Carrier and still have money in your pocket. Neither rack I would feel comfortable hauling anything more than a Dirtbike on it. The claim carrying capacity of VersaHaul Carrier is 500lbs and Black Widow Carrier is 600lbs. If you love your motorcycle you would not place anything over 300lbs on either carrier. You will need to purchase a ramp should you decide to purchase the base VersaHaul carrier. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ VersaHaul Motorcycle Carrier, no ramp or light option *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2019* Very well made, (in the USA, I believe)! I looked at several competitor carriers and opted to spend more for a higher quality carrier. Easy to assemble, good illustrated instructions, nice powder coat finish, very well packaged and came through with no damage from the freight carrier(s). The patented anti rattle / rocking bracket works very well! I ordered the carrier w/o ramp as I already had a bike ramp that I just set on the cross bars used to fasten tie down straps.The one down side [really nothing against VersaHauler carriers] is that many of the HD pick up trucks now for sale come with 2.5" and even 3" receivers. My Super Duty has a 2.5" receiver so I needed to make a 2" to 2.5" adapter to align with the 2" draw bar tongue that the VersaHauler comes standard with. I tried to call VersaHauler to see if they offered a 2.5" variant but no one answered phone nor was I able to leave a message. VersaHauler, please consider offering units with 2.5" or 3" main bars.Very pleased with this purchase! Makes transporting my CRF so much more convenient then dragging out my trailer or having to load bike in the bed of the truck. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ your bike gets seriously dirty back there from road dust *by B***S on Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2015* Well built, heavy, confidence inspiring. Once dialed-in be sure to Loctite all set screws as they WILL come loose while traveling (I lost a couple). Travel with tools to adjust all bolts and stop now and then to check. After one trip the adjustable tie-down arms no longer retract. My guess is these lighter weight arms are very slightly bent upward from strap tie-down force.
