There is no great evidence of its abilities in the way of clinical trials, so taking 1000 IU of this daily is at the level of a religious belief, with no good science to back it up. My doc told me that if I chose to take Vit E, that it should be mixed tocopherols, which this is. And so, of its kind, this is a good product - whether you should take, or require 1000 IU of Vitamin E daily is something that you will need to decide.

I believe that vitamin E is a good blood thinner.
