BEATBOX by taking it to work and using it in my breakroom. Since it only has an aux input, old 30-pin Apple connector, a proprietary slot for a wireless beats add-on card, and no Bluetooth, options are limited.Although there seems to be plenty of these 30-pin Bluetooth adapters available, this was one of the few under $20 that claimed to work with a Beatbox. It came in a small box about half the size of a business card with a sheet of instructions that explained the connecting process very comprehensively-- although it's a pretty easy plug-and-play unit. I plugged it into the 30 pin dock, the unit flashed blue and red to signal it was in pairing mode. It immediately came up as an available device on both my Pixel 3 and iPhone I would be using with it. It paired easily and the light turned solid blue. But that was it. I tested both devices and no sound was produced from my unit. I double-checked that my unit was functioning properly by connecting my old iPod and that worked just fine. This leads me to the conclusion that this IS NOT compatible with my Beatbox, although it was stated in the description.A little disappointed--so I am in the process of returning and possibly trying a different unit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what I was looking for *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2019* I have a nice iHome speaker that I bought in 2014. It was great to use with the iPad I had then. Since Apple changes their devices every 6 months, my iHome became useless with my newer iPad and iPhone. I use Spotify for my playlists and need my iPhone for that. I really wasn't interested in buying a Google Home or whatever when I have this iHome that is nearly brand new and that I like. So - I searched for something that could convert my iHome's compatibility with my iPhone. This 30-pin Bluetooth Receiver did the trick beautifully! I just plugged it onto the prongs of the iHome, synced to my phone, turned on my iHome and Spotify and can now enjoy my playlists without having to spend more money on another device.
