I've used other foam textured rollers in the gym and they do help a bit for massaging my lower back but this literally straightened my back from extreme back pain. That I caused due to deadlifts and shoulder pressing. I always use this now after back workouts or stiffness in the mornings from extreme training. This makes me feel like a new man!
