If it was pink, then however many drops you add to turn it blue, thats how many grains hard your water is. Since you did not have to add any drops that means your water is 0 grains hard. **Q: What is the hardness range for this test kit? Thanks** A: You can always dilute your sample to extend the range. Dilute with soft water (distilled, clean rain water, or previously softened water). Just check that the soft water tests for zero hardness before using it. 1:1 dilution would double your range. 1:9 would extend the range by a factor of 10.
